First Dream
" [2026-09-21 05:13:24.983] PAPER: ifzoey/(Enid Reid) wrote to paper: "My dream was simple. - - As I drifted away, I could hear the rustling of wind on leaves, yet I felt no breeze. I wandered through the Woods around the Mansus, far from the Gates. In my wanders I came across a Spring, it's water was cool yet not wet, when I bathed I could not tell if I was floating or swimming. - - Further along, I noticed a strange tree, there was an axe in it, yet it was the only one like it. The tree was still, as if air was not touching it, alone in the Woods. It was an enigma, and yet all I could feel was a calmness, as if all was right being here. As I looked towards the edge of the forest, I awoke, ending my time in the Mansus. - - If only I could be there again sooner." As I sipped, I felt a sense of purpose and welcoming, a pull to the dream, a dream that could let me see into the other side. So I indulged, flicked off my lamp, turned off the lights, laid in the bed, and closed my eyes, as my eyes opened inwards. - - As I drifted away, I could hear the rustling of wind on leaves, yet I felt no breeze.
